In the case of registration of a Company or LLP with Indian resident directors, shareholders, or partners, the following documents are required.

Indian Resident Requirements

3 Residential address proof Recent electricity bill, landline bill or bank statement, showing current address, not older than 2–3 months. Self‑attested copy.
4 Photograph Recent passport‑size photograph of each proposed director / shareholder / partner. No attestation required (original photo).
5 Email ID Active personal email ID of each proposed director / shareholder / partner for OTP and MCA communication. Not applicable.
6 Mobile number Active mobile number of each proposed director / shareholder / partner for OTP and KYC verification. Not applicable.
7 Registered office address proof Electricity bill, property tax receipt, rent agreement or owner’s NOC for the proposed registered office address. Self‑attested copies by the authorised signatory as applicable.
8 Declarations (e.g. INC‑9, other MCA declarations) Declarations as required in the incorporation forms (such as INC‑9 and other prescribed formats), typically auto‑generated in SPICe+. Signed and, where required, self‑attested by the concerned person.

Attestation Note (Indian Residents)

For Indian residents, most KYC and address documents for company or LLP incorporation are accepted on the basis of self‑attested copies. Original documents may be required for verification at DSC issuance, bank account opening, or as and when specifically requested by authorities.
